This projector is incredible. The resolution is sharp and the fact that it��s a smart projector makes it even better. I literally can��t find anything wrong with it

Your limited programs are Hulu, Disney and Netflix. The auto focus is incredibly awesome every time and the picture is extremely clear. The quality reminds me of being in a theater. Works great outside on a standard screen. Connected to our internet with issues. It's stylish and easy to setup.

First, I'm very slow on tech, so I'm reviewing this from the perspective of someone who really knows nothing about projectors and what's available. Here's my impression after 5 weeks of use.I got this up and running very easily. It's simple to get set up and connected to wifi. I really like that once I was connected I could use the built in apps easily. Netflix, YouTube, and TikTok were all no brainers to get up and running. I added a Fire stick to the HDMI port and now have tons of choices for streaming. I wish the built in app store offered more, but there is a ton of stuff available from music to news to regular TV. It's not US market based, so there are a ton of options that I've never seen before, and lots of foreign stations/content available.I got the projector permanently mounted on the ceiling, and am a little disappointed that it doesn't seem to save my zoom and keystone settings between power cycles. Every time I power it up I have to adjust everything just slightly. I'd say the auto focus works good, but the other auto adjustments don't really work automatically.The picture quality is outstanding, and I've tried it from about 50" to 150" in picture size. I do wish it was a touch brighter. Not a deal breaker, and I'll still be able to watch my favorite teams in the daylight. The baseball game is streaming cable from the HDMI input, the football ad is using the built in YouTube app, and the picture in the dark is using the built in TikTok app. At night with the room fairly dark, movies are bright, crisp, and clear.The speakers are okay and have clear sound, but they are obviously small. They don't fill the room with big sound like you'd want with a movie, so I'm going to add a sound bar and will be testing the bluetooth capability when it arrives.Overall I'm impressed, and think this projector is a good value for it's price point. There are a few kinks that I think could be worked out with a firmwear update, but I'm happy and very excited for football season to get here.

InstallationInstallation is straight forward out of the box. The projector needs to be screwed into the adjustable base through 4 thumb screws. Then attach the power cord. That's pretty much it unless you're mounting it on the roof.SetupSetup is easy. The projector auto focuses shortly after turning on. Auto focus functionality is accurate both in flat and uneven surfaces. Additional display adjustments can be made through the menu. It has 4 initial settings to determine whether you're projecting from behind or in front of the screen and whether you're projecting from above or below. If your projector is at an angle from the screen, the projection will be shaped like a trapezoid. Keystone adjustments can be made manually to compensate for the distortion and get it back to a rectangular shape. The remote control is straightforward. Note that batteries for the remote are not included.SoftwareThe projector software includes apps for Netflix, Hulu, and Disney Plus. The Netflix app has a built-in interface which is easier to use. The Hulu and Disney Plus apps were somewhat more difficult to use. The projector provides plenty of content through these apps. The software at the time of this review was dated February 2024. Additional apps may be available in future releases. An external video source such as an Apple TV or an Amazon Fire Stick would be simpler to use and give you access to more apps.Picture and Sound QualityI was pleasantly surprised by the picture quality and brightness. They are excellent for a projector at this price. The picture was clear projecting from about 10 feet away. Colors look good and there is not a lot of motion blur, even when watching moderately fast-moving scenes. The built in speaker is 20W works well for small rooms. By comparison, many modern TVs come with 10W speakers.Overall, this is a very good projector and provides great value.

Out of the box it was easy to install the base, power up and set up the wireless and project a picture. I placed it on a table 8 feet away from the wall, and got a reasonable picture in the mid-afternoon with bright sunlight despite shut blinds. There is a power switch on the unit and behind are two USB ports, 2 HDMI ports, and a headphone jack. The remote control is used for all functionality.It has built-in app (and remote buttons) for Netflix, Prime Video and YouTube. It also has a button to bring up a browser. The inbuilt speakers are loud enough for a large room.I liked the auto-focus feature which is triggered on power-on, or if the unit is moved. Autofocus does an excellent job, but there are manual focus (F+, F-) buttons for manual focus if desired. If the angle of the unit is changed (it is hinged on the base), the image looks like a trapezoid, but can be corrected as follows: go to settings->Projection->Keystone. In this mode, each click of the OK will take you to a corner of the image. Clicking the L/R or U/D on the circular control will help to straighten each edge. This is a nice feature, except that when you go back to a level setting, the image will focus but nor reset the aspect ratio - you have to go thru the Keystone setting again.Explore the menu to discover Hulu and DIsney Apps also. With the external ports and Bluetooth, this becomes a formidable streaming and projection device. It does have an audible fan noise and generates significant heat. 1 star taken off for the negatives noted.Night time image is excellent as opposed to the afternoon image. I expect casual users will find it useful to have this versatile and portable projection unit. Recommended!
